Line Cook

Reports directly to:          Kitchen Manager

Department:                      Kitchen

Requirements:                  High school diploma or GED equivalent

Minimum of 2 years of high volume line experience

Food-Safe and WHIMIS

Must have strong resume with verifiable references

Duties of a Line Cook may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Must be able to handle a high volume setting (Cooking for Restaurant, Pub, and Catering)
  • Able to do repetitive work
  • Able to prepare food according to food handler’s guidelines
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and safety rules for kitchen equipment
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Flexible with job duties
  • Obtain / have First Aid CPR certification
  • Able to work all shifts and holidays

Wages and benefits:

This is a Union position that offers above average remuneration and benefits after a qualifying period.
