This year's theme was 'Sporting with Carnival', a perfect percurser to the Greater Vernon 2012 BC Winter Games which ran from February 23rd, 2012.  Family-friendly events were held in and around Greater Vernon from Friday, February 3rd to Sunday, February 12th.  The Village Green Hotel was proud to host the Hot Air Balloon Pilots.  Too bad that the low level clouds during that time kept the balloons from flying more often!

Vernon was honoured to be host to the 2012 BC Winter Games - February 23rd - 26th.  Approximately 2150 participants from across BC attended the Games (1576 athletes, 363 coaches and 216 officials). The Village Green Hotel welcomed the Bus Drivers, Family & Friends of the Participants.
