The Village Green Hotel has been a vibrant, independent hotel in the City of Vernon since its opening in 1972. Over the years the hotel has seen many changes, particularly with the interior decor. In May 2011, renovations were completed on all of our 128 guest rooms & suites.  'Triple Sheeting' was introduced to these rooms as well as the installation of modern bathroom fixtures and flooring.  A state of the art elevator was installed in the Tower as well as a automatic entry door at our main entrance. All hallway carpeting & lighting were replaced. The exterior of the hotel has changed little from the then popular 'Spanish' style, crusty stucco from the 70's era.  Plans are in the works, however, for future exterior upgrading and refurbishing with a proposed completion date later in 2012. Our street appeal may be lacking but once through our front doors, our guests will enjoy a fresh, comfortable environment and a decor consistent with contemporary accommodations.

With 128 guest rooms, the Village Green Hotel is one of the largest full-service hotels in Vernon employing a staff of between 80 and 150. The Village Green Hotel's staff are proud members of Unite HERE! Local 40 and we are the only Unionized hotel in Vernon. A few of our loyal staff have been with the hotel for 30 years or more and continue to provide our guests with a warm welcome and exceptional service.
